Mission Statement

The Chicago Police Officers of the 005th District CAPS Office believe that mentoring these young people will encourage them to be successful adults. We foster community support, life skills, and coaching. Mentoring them will allow them to have healthier relationships and lifestyles, improved interpersonal skills, and enhanced self-esteem. The Explorers Program participates in various social activities, awareness workshops, teen community forums, beautification projects, anti-violence projects, to name a few.
