Mission Statement

Rocky Cares was launched as a 501c3 nonprofit public charity to honor Raquel Elardo's life and legacy. Our mission is threefold; to raise awareness and funds for Ewing sarcoma research, provide a Rocky Elardo Legacy Award to a senior(s) at Heritage High School that embodies Rocky's qualities of intelligence, athleticism, and kindness, and to spread Rocky's sunshine by hosting fun activities benefiting the courageous kids and families staying at the local pediatric cancer wards.
