Mission Statement

The dedicated volunteers of the American Red Cross in San Mateo County devote countless hours of their time to assist the community in Disaster Services, Health and Safety, Community Preparedness, Family and Community Services, International Social Services, Language Bank and Youth Services. In addition to helping out with national and international disasters, we spend thousands of dollars in San Mateo County alone each year, to assist people who have lost their homes due to fires, floods, landslides, earthquakes, etc. American Red Cross San Mateo County is funded solely from donations and does not receive any assistance from the U. S. Government. We are requesting four (4) tickts for our volunteers as recognition for their excellent work. This year, our formal recognition events are held on June 8, September 8, and December 8.
