GARDEN RIDGE LIONS CHARITIES
Mission Statement
Dear Friend, The Garden Ridge Lions have been serving the local and state community in service work since 1973. We serve in many ways! Each fall we volunteer in our local schools with vision and hearing screening for elementary children. We also provide Thanksgiving and Christmas meals to families in need each holiday season. During Operation Santa Claus we provide, wrap and deliver all presents to children for Christmas morning. We assist in roadside clean up, provide local high school scholarships, purchase eyeglasses for students, assist in community emergency rescue training, support summer camps for children with disabilities and cancer, fund library programs; we do all this and so much more! In order to continue providing and supporting all our programs throughout the year, we ask you to consider supporting your Garden Ridge Lions through our Community Partnership Program. The attached flier details the levels and benefits of joining with our club to improve the lives of people around us. The first level starts at only $250. All levels provide an ideal way to demonstrate your organization’s continued commitment to our community! Our club is committed to making sure that 100% of your contribution goes to charity. All of our Community Partnership levels offer a way to directly impact your local community in a tangible way. Please look at the attachment and contact us to discuss being a Community Partner donor for your community. It is through the generosity of sponsors such as yourself and volunteer support that we are able to continue our long history of serving our community in the great state of Texas! We thank you for your time and consideration!
