Mission Statement

Eradicate the culture of poverty in inner cities by establishing education, both traditional and non-traditional, as an integral part of their life. By doing so, our focus or target population is youth ages 5-21, though our holistic approach includes the family and community. We aim to cultivate educational resilience and success in at-risk youth through empowering programming that establishes a culture that facilitates choices, opportunities and model’s appropriate behavior to restructure cognitive distortions and correct social skill deficiencies. We believe in an approach that focuses on the whole child by offering experiential learning experiences. By exposing them to a diverse and engaging programming, all youth are better prepared to become active community leaders and creative problem solvers.
