Mission Statement
The Nevada Diabetes Association empowers individuals to live longer, healthier lives by redefining the diabetes journey. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support, education, and direct services that remove barriers to care and ensure that no one faces diabetes alone. We serve children, adults, and families through innovative programs that include emergency medical assistance, youth and family diabetes camps, newly diagnosed support, peer groups, and community education. With offices and programs across Nevada, we are committed to advancing health equity, expanding access to resources, and strengthening community resilience. Each year, our work reaches more than 25,000 individuals, providing life-saving supplies, critical education, and opportunities for connection. By combining medical expertise, compassionate support, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, the Nevada Diabetes Association helps individuals and families not only manage diabetes, but thrive with confidence and hope for the future.
