Mission Statement
The Opportunity Tree (TOT)’s mission is to provide quality individualized supports to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in dynamic and innovative environments. Established in 1963, TOT now provides more than 300 youth, adults, and seniors with IDD each year with resources to increase their independence, health, safety, self-sufficiency, and participation in the community. TOT operates three daytime campuses (Phoenix, Casa Grande, and Maricopa), 20 Group Homes, and 5 Individually Designed Living Arrangements in Phoenix and Casa Grande. In June of 2025, we cut the ribbon on our Adaptive Fitness Center expanding TOT’s physical health, wellness, and nutrition offerings through accessible fitness classes.
