PROJECT CULTIVATE

Project Cultivate is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through transformative experiential learning programs that build confidence, leadership, and career awareness. Founded in 2020 by Dr. Robyn S. Joppy, Project Cultivate creates opportunities for young people—particularly those from underrepresented and underserved communities—to explore new possibilities, develop essential life skills, and envision ambitious futures. Through innovative programs such as the Saddle Up Harrisburg Equestrian Camp, Day of Caring community service initiatives, and the Cultivating Aviation Program (CAP), Project Cultivate provides hands-on learning experiences that expose students to new environments, mentorship, and career pathways they may not otherwise encounter. These programs are intentionally designed to strengthen leadership, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills while helping youth build confidence and self-belief. Project Cultivate believes that when young people are given access to supportive mentors and meaningful experiences, they are empowered to recognize their potential and pursue their goals with determination. By connecting youth with educational enrichment opportunities and real-world career exposure, the organization works to cultivate the next generation of leaders who are prepared to contribute positively to their communities and the broader world.
