Mission Statement
The Mission of This Little Light is: To serve as a primary resource for women and their families navigating a breast cancer diagnosis, provide education and awareness of Lobular Breast Cancer, and to support the caregivers of loved ones facing a chronic or long-term disability. Breast cancer affects women of every race, socio-economic status and background. At TLL we are committed to ensuring that ALL breast cancer patients, caregivers and their families receive the support they need as they face a diagnosis and treatment. We make every effort to provide our programs for free, or at minimal cost, to ensure there is no financial barrier to participation. We partner with hospitals and healthcare workers across the Kansas City area to reach a diverse group of patients and their families.
