FOOD FOR OUR JOURNEY

FFOJ is a 501c3 existing to deliver meals to the hungry, putting God’s love into action. We use a “food truck” to carry food, water, hygiene, etc. to different sites in Bham where those experiencing homelessness/food insecurity live eliminating their need for transportation. We aim to reduce food waste by partnering with restaurants, hotels/catering companies, churches, businesses and individuals to distribute donated/prepared food, some of which would be discarded. We serve every day, building relationships with our friends where they feel safe to share their needs. From needing medicine, clothing, hygiene to obtaining IDs, employment and housing, we network with our sister agencies, ensuring these needs can be met, helping them toward their ultimate goal of ending their homelessness.
