Mission Statement

Pretty Girls Are Educated (PGAE) exists to empower girls ages 6–18 through education, mentorship, and community engagement—cultivating confident leaders who are equipped to challenge and overcome systemic barriers. Our mission is to interrupt cycles of poverty, criminalization, and marginalization by providing youth with safe spaces, trusted relationships, and access to transformational opportunities. We are committed to reducing reliance on punitive systems like law enforcement, jails, and prisons by building community-driven pathways that promote healing, growth, and lifelong success. Through intentional educational goal-setting, we support our girls in realizing their academic potential and pursuing futures filled with purpose and possibility.
