Our organization is dedicated to rescuing dogs from euthanasia lists and the streets of Phoenix, giving them a second chance at life in safe, loving homes. We are committed to building a future where no animal in Arizona is abandoned or forgotten. Beyond rescue, we actively work to prevent pet surrenders by supporting low-income individuals — including those who rely on emotional support animals (ESAs) and service dogs — with access to veterinary care, food, supplies, and training. These services are especially critical for underserved women, many of whom face barriers such as poverty, housing insecurity, trauma, or disability. For many of these women, their dog is not just a pet — it is a lifeline. Whether offering emotional stability during recovery from domestic violence, providing mental health support, or simply being a source of unconditional love and safety, the human-animal bond can be vital to healing and resilience. By helping women keep their beloved dogs through times of hardship, we reduce the risk of surrender, promote emotional well-being, and empower them to maintain independence and stability. Through our rescue and support programs, we aim to reduce shelter intake, protect the most vulnerable in our community — both human and canine — and strengthen the deep, life-enhancing connection between people and their pets.
