Mission Statement
Scarlet Oak Farms is an approved 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal sanctuary operating in eastern North Carolina. The foundation of our work rests on the dream that one day animals will no longer be killed in pet shelters. Our focus is taking some of the shelter's "unadoptable" animals to our sanctuary and providing them with refuge and a place to heal. We are committed to proper care, rehabilitation, and patience to help these animals transition into their forever home on the farm.
