RUTH CHEATHAM FOUNDATION COLLEGE FUND
Mission Statement
The Ruth Cheatham Foundation(TRCF) bridges the educational opportunity gap for teen cancer survivors by providing college scholarships and educational support, which is vital for their economic mobility due to the long-term financial, cognitive, and emotional tolls of cancer. Teen cancer patients face some of the most complex and diverse treatment needs, yet receive the least amount of support of any patient population. Education is key to long-term success, yet out of reach for many young cancer patients due to the long-term financial, cognitive, and emotional hardships of cancer. The Ruth Cheatham Foundation(TRCF) supports teen survivors financially via scholarships to ensure access to higher education, as well as through supportive services to ensure college graduation. TRCF bridges the educational opportunity gap, providing the gateway to economic mobility and a higher quality of life for young cancer survivors.
