Mission Statement
AAW’s mission is to provide the means to access outdoor recreational opportunities for people with temporary or permanent physical challenges (such as injuries resulting in paralysis) promoting access, inclusion, equity, & healthy living. We provide for free (with a small refundable deposit), an outdoor wheelchair (OWC) & enclosed trailer (costing $25,000) that individuals living with mobility issues and their family members can use to explore the outdoors.
