We rescue animals with different needs, from being sick, severely injured, homeless, or at risk of being euthanized. When pets are lost or found, we use our network to reunite the animals with the rightful owner. At the same time, we network animals looking for new homes, this way, the animal can remain in the comfort of a home while a new one is located. Our number one priority will always be our animals' safety, which is why we provide professional medical care, a safe retreat, socialization, and thorough vetting of potential adopters. Before they are adopted, every animal is sterilized, vaccinated, ID micro-chipped to prevent future loss, and fully vetted, if pre-existing conditions exist, we work with the adopters to provide treatment. While some animals require major surgery from a specialist to repair broken limbs, others may need additional rehabilitation time and specific medical care. We treat everything from respiratory illnesses and skin infections to cherry eyes and heartworm disease. Once Paws 4 You Rescue commits to helping an animal, we seek the best quality treatment available – taking no shortcuts. Educational programs are an essential aspect of our mission. We have welcomed Scout troops, school students, and college students to our retreat to learn about the importance of caring for others and the impact of philanthropy. Through our network, we also share important information for the well-being of pets and safe interactions in the home. We continue expanding our educational programs in the community to encourage good practices for maintaining the health and happiness of companion pets.
