BOLING DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION
Mission Statement
The Boling District Improvement Association was founded in 1967 to promote recreational, educational and beautification programs in and around Boling, Texas. Today, our primary responsibility is to raise operating funds for the Boling Community Center Complex and to preserve, manage and maintain the grounds which house the Boling Community Center, the Boling Community Fellowship Hall/ Scout House and St. Joseph's Outdoor Pavilion. The 9 acre property is home to all three structures plus the Boling Little League baseball fields and Boling Youth Football League practice areas. These facilities are vital to the Boling community and neighboring communities as they provide a low cost option and clean safe environment for family gatherings, community celebrations, opportunities for fundraising events, meeting and practice spaces for youth organizations and a venue for various Boling ISD activities. Last year, the facilities were used by over 120 families for celebrations and gatherings and by 9 different fundraising groups who raised over $100,000 for scholarships and program expenses. Youth organizations who use the properties free of charge include, but are not limited to: Boling Little League, Boling Youth Football League, Boy Scouts, FFA, 4-H groups, the Lions Club, the Boling Volunteer Fire Department and Boling ISD for picnics and play days.
