Mission Statement
Northern California Sled Dog Rescue (NorSled) is dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, fostering, and rehoming Northern breed dogs—including Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Malamutes, and Samoyeds—throughout Northern California and Reno, Nevada. Serving a vast region of approximately 70,702 square miles and a population of 12.8 million, we work closely with local shelters and, in select cases, accept owner surrenders to ensure every dog has a chance at a loving home.
