Mission Statement
Laps 4 Backs is a non-profit which helps the emotional well being of sick kids by providing hospitals with toys and prizes as well as granting sick kids small wishes. 13-year-old Noelle Gregoire started a charity Laps 4 Backs when she was nine. She was diagnosed with a rare spinal condition when she was five and spent a lot of time at doctor's appointments. After each procedure, she would receive a prize. After a 90-minute MRI when she was eight, Noelle went to the prize closet and found it almost empty. She asked where the toys came from and if there would be any for the kids after her. The staff told her that mostly staff members donate and they could only give out what they had on hand. She thought about it for a while and then came up with the idea for her charity, Laps 4 Backs. She raises money to purchase toys and other fun items for children at local hospitals. To date, Noelle has donated over 30,000 toys to hospitals and medical treatment faculties throughout New England.
