CASS LAKE AREA FOOD SHELF

CLAFS provides food to 175-250 family units once a month in the Cass Lake/Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe area. 30-40 youth from the Alternative Learning Center help to package and distribute the food, serving their elders by carrying food boxes to cars, and providing necessary support for the distribution. All come from low-income families, and some have never been to Minneapolis, much less a Twins game. The CLAFS wants to thank them, at the end of the school year, for all of their hard work, joy, and service to those in poverty in the Cass Lake area. I can follow up with several pictures of youth and adults serving together.
