Mission Statement

Purposes of SC Advocates for Agriculture: • To improve and assist in the marketing and promotion of South Carolina agricultural products and the overall industry of agriculture within South Carolina. • To educate and assist farmers and others involved in the South Carolina agriculture industry to improve the quality and effectiveness of agricultural products and improving the efficiency of production and distribution operations. • To assist and support other 501 (c) (3) charitable and educational organizations that are involved with the South Carolina agriculture industry, including programs for training, recognition and promotion sponsored by qualified South Carolina educational institutions and South Carolina government programs. • To provide financial and other assistance to South Carolina farmers and other persons involved in the South Carolina agricultural industry who are victims of disasters such as floods, fires, storms or other similar events, or are in emergency hardship situations.
