MIDTOWN HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC BOOSTER CLUB

Grady High School Dugout Club is fundraising to build Grady High School's first-ever on-site batting facility. Our mission is to attract and retain more girls to Grady softball and more boys to Grady baseball. This is a long-term investment in the students of the Grady cluster. Grady is the only high school within Atlanta Public Schools without a field or a practice facility on (or adjacent to) campus. This creates significant hardships on our student-athletes who are bused to a shared field across town. In afternoon traffic, this is a long and dangerous commute. Baseball and softball are APS JV and Varsity sports, but Grady's teams cannot compete with other schools who walk out the door and have productive practices and warm-ups prior to games. As APS' flagship inner-city school, we hope to raise enough funds to revitalize our baseball and softball programs and restore Grady to a top contender in the state.
