GEORGIA HEALTHY FAMILY ALLIANCE INC

The Georgia Healthy Family Alliance (GHFA) is the philanthropic arm of the Georgia Academy of Family Physicians. GHFA is the only charitable organization in Georgia whose objective is to improve access to quality health care through initiatives and programs led and supported by the care and generosity of family physicians. GHFA's mission is to serve the people of Georgia by enhancing their well-being through educational and outreach programs that promote healthy practices consistent with the principles of family medicine. Our most enduring outreach program has been Tar Wars, an anti-tobacco and anti-vaping early education and prevention program for students offered by GHFA at no cost to Georgia schools. The national program is a tool to combat the alarming uptick of vape use among middle and high school students as the use of traditional tobacco product has decreased.
