Established in 1966, The UNCG Excellence Foundation, Inc. (a/k/a UNC Greensboro Foundation) is a North Carolina not-for-profit corporation which operates for educational, scientific, and charitable purposes within the scope of the Internal Revenue Code. Its purpose is to operate exclusively for the benefit of The University of North Carolina at Greensboro by securing, holding, and investing funds and other assets to support University scholarships, programs, and operations.
