Mission Statement

Richmond County 9-1-1 provides the citizens and visitors of the county with a twenty-four hour, seven day a week public-safety answering point to access police, fire, or emergency medical services as needed. When providing the necessary service to all callers, the agency will utilize standardized protocols to assess the caller’s needs, utilize the latest technology to assist, while meeting or exceeding national standards. It is the agency’s goal to send the right help, the right way, at the right time for customers.
