Mission Statement

Founded in 2015, Combined Arms’ mission is to deliver innovative technology solutions that optimize connection to resources and drive network-wide efficiencies, ultimately improving the quality of life for veterans and military families. Our purpose is to support veterans who may otherwise encounter difficulties accessing the resources they need to transition from military to civilian life. We have spent the last decade fundamentally redesigning the military transition process, collaborating to create one platform that provides access to all available resources in one stop—streamlining the connection between veterans and the social service organizations that can meet their needs. Our work complements the efforts of the VA and state agencies, ensuring they are connected to VA health care as well as their state benefits. Combined Arms streamlines the connection between active service members, veterans, military spouses, and SIVs (holders of special immigrant visas) and the social service organizations that can meet their needs. Our technology platform provides service coordination and referral services to a network of 650 member organizations—75 of which are national—offering wraparound services, including physical, mental, social, and financial outcomes. Clients create Combined Arms profiles in one of the following ways: 1) in-person resource navigation support at outreach events; 2) self-driven resource navigation through our mobile app or online platform; or 3) 24/7 phone support with intake specialists. Through our national partnership with Face the Fight, we use the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) to offer an additional layer of suicide prevention. Other key activities include outreach events such as VetConnect Days, resource fairs, and food distributions.
