Mission Statement

GOING TO THE DOGS’ top priority is providing protective equipment for K9s in partnership with police departments in Kansas and Missouri. We recognize the value K9s provide as first responders and the financial constraints under which most law enforcement agencies operate. We provide financial support for the protection and well-being of trained K9s and their handlers. Our vision is three-fold: to strengthen and increase assistance to our K9 law enforcement partners; to promote public education and awareness about K9s and their role in fighting crime; and finally to expand GOING TO THE DOGS organization to surrounding states and eventually the entire United States
