Energy Alabama is a 501(c)(3) non-profit created to accelerate Alabama’s transition to sustainable energy through education, advocacy, and technical assistance. To achieve its mission Energy Alabama organizes and funds activities to widely promote science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) energy topics in local school classrooms and provide teachers with professional development throughout the year to help them inspire careers in the energy industry.
