March 27th, 2018 Good Afternoon, In the last four years, I have been hosting an annual event for cruisers prior sailing on The Monsters of Rock Cruise out of Miami, Florida. The Regency Hotel in Miami has graciously opened their doors to us each year. Our group has grown from 50 attendees the first year to 800 this past February. This event began as just a gathering of friends to enjoy a bit of socializing and/or networking to promote our personal businesses and related businesses in the music industry. I received and gave out approximately $7000.00 in donated door prizes to attendees at the party on February 10, 2018. It was a wonderful time of fellowship that began simply as a way of showing my friends how much they mean to me. Now, all of us want to show others how much we care. After much discussion among those that assist me in the planning and carrying out of the event, we have decided that we want to use this event to give back to the community of Miami and to our world as a whole in our small way. This wonderful event has become a group project. For this reason, I am contacting you today for your assistance. On February 23rd, 2019, Miami Cocktail Bash IV- Storm Surge will take place at The Regency Hotel Miami from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. During the event this year, we are adding several facets that will allow us to raise funds for two 501(c) 3 qualified charities- Autism and Music out of Miami and Forgotten Felines and Fidos out of Pennsylvania. We will be selling t-shirts with a unique design including sponsor’s logos. During the event we will have door prize drawings, a silent auction for awesome donated items, and two live auctions for two exceptional items to be donated by one of our sponsors. If you can assist in any way by donating prizes for the door prize or auction portion of our event or if you would like to sponsor the event we would be in your debt. Any amount raised will make a huge difference in the everyday operations of either of these very deserving organizations. Please help us make a huge difference in the lives of families affected by Autism and in the lives of animals that need our help finding their "furever" homes. I am attaching the sponsorship plans, all of which are nominal fees that only cover the bare printing fees—any funds taken in over costs will go straight to the charity as this is totally all about raising as much as we can for them.
