RIVERSIDE FREE CLINIC
Mission Statement
Riverside Free Clinic (RFC) is a non-profit organization that is committed to providing free, long-term medical care to low-income and homeless Riverside County populations for over 10 years. Established in 2005, RFC provides patients with various health services through a patient-care team approach. These range from basic first aid to long-term medical management of chronic diseases like diabetes. Our diverse patient population consists of over 300 people from all ages and racial/ethnic backgrounds who struggle socioeconomically. Many of these patients are homeless, who live on the streets in the downtown Riverside area and cannot afford the high costs of healthcare. Although some of our patients have homes, they have to make financially-difficult choices in accessing healthcare. Our clinic is their only free reliable source of follow-up medical care and prescription medications that otherwise cannot be afforded. RFC proudly offers basic primary medical care, diabetes management, social services, smoking cessation, women's health, hygiene kits, stress relief classes, laboratory services, and nutritional health education.
