End With Care (EWC), is an educational resource that provides and promotes public, professional, and institutional awareness of end-of-life care. We gather and present information assisting individuals, families, and caregivers with end-of-life needs find answers, resources, care, and support. With a groundswell of new thinking about end-of-life, EWC provides a valuable end-of-life care tool delivered free of charge through a public website. Addressing need and access to information, EWC helps users identify and address: •Types of care and service available •Tools to help cope with difficult situations •Decisions to be made •Actions to be taken •Personal choices to consider Our resource is focused on: 1.Education and Information, providing consumer content on a variety of end-of-life topics, consisting of readings, checklists, tools, articles, and links to other relevant resources. 2.An End-of-Life Resource Directory, delivering a compilation of licensed, certified, or otherwise qualified Massachusetts care and service providers. An easy to use and powerful search engine allows users to find resources by geographic location across the state, by type of service, or by name or keyword. 3.Other Valuable Materials are presented through our blog, newsletter, and social media. We are creating and sharing additional content, building relationships, and engaging a wider audience through our presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Google Nonprofit Ad Grant We believe End With Care is an important addition to the end-of-life care landscape, offering information and resources that can inform behavior and affect addressing one’s needs and challenges in the final stage of life. Through a gateway to services and care, our goal is to bridge those in need to those who can help.
