EYNON STURGES VOLUNTEER HOSE CO 3

The Eynon/ Sturges Volunteer Hose Co 3 is an all volunteer, 501(C)3 status, fire department with a primary service area covering the borough of Archbald/Eynon. The ESVHC3 responds on a regular basis to the surrounding communities of Mayfield, Jermyn, Jessup, Blakely-Peckville, Olyphant, and any other municipality that requests our services. Our primary source of income is fundraising activities, such as this event. We are heavily dependent on community support. Our ability to host a variety of fundraising events greatly enhances our opportunities to purchase much needed protective gear and equipment for our firefighters. The ESVHC3 currently operates out of a 2 bay garage with a small meeting room attached that was built in 1970. We have to have our apparatus constructed to fit in this facility which reduces our ability to get the equipment we truly need to have. Our goal is to construct a larger facility capable of housing our vehicles as well as providing us a venue to conduct our fundraising activities.
