Mission Statement

Founded by Erik Nicholson, East Manatee Firefighter, in 2006, the tournaments sole purpose is to raise funds for the Children’s Burn Foundation of Florida and other local charitable causes. The Burn Foundation is committed to enhancing the lives of young burn survivors. Their goal is to offer an opportunity for these children to see and interact with other burn survivors and know that they are not alone. Burn Camp offers a unique opportunity to build friendships with other burn survivors, network for opportunities to attend state and federal camps, and apply for medical and/or scholastic financial assistance that they might not otherwise obtain.
