Mission Statement
We are the only licensed native turtle hospital in NY. We do not receive any assistance from the government and rely on donations. We see 100's of turtles annually for injuries, illness and neglect from humans. This is a busy season for our hospital as the native turtles are actively seeking their hibernation homes. Our goal is to treat and release as many turtles as we can but donations are at an all time low. For those who can not be released we also have a sanctuary on the premises. We do also have pet turtles and tortoises come through our doors, not to mention chickens, ducks and other domestic animals! None are turned away and we adopt out as many as we can.
