Mission Statement
The Midwest Poultry Consortium is organized to provideleadership, support and resources for poultry education and research in member states. Strategies. Strategies, established in 1995 by the initial MPC Board of Directors, are continuously improved to meet the needs of the poultry industry and provide the foundation on which decisions are made. Leadership. Support, maintain and enhance poultry science education and research at member state universities. Education. Provide students with an emphasis in poultry science and encourage them to enter the poultry field. Research. Increase basic and applied research in poultry and food science at member state universities. Communication. Facilitate communication, coordination and interaction between industry, universities, government and interested public.
