BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN INC
Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally-supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better. Since 1977, Big Brothers Big Sisters locally has provided caring role models as mentors to help children overcome disadvantages and to succeed. Our goal is that each child will develop higher aspirations, greater confidence, better relationships and educational success while avoiding risky behaviors. Put simply, it’s about behavioral development. Our programs guide and support at-risk youth to achieve less truancy, better academic and social performance, improved family and community relationships and the belief that they can be somebody.
