SPECIALIZED EMPLOYMENT SERVICES INC

Flint STRIVE is part of F.A.S.E.S. Organization ( Flint Area Specialized Employment Services). We are a non-profit organization funded by the Mott Foundation. We serve the community by assisting individuals who are seeking employment, by offering free mainstream job industry training, resume building and certain certifications. Clients receive 1 on 1 job seeking with a professional Job Developer, interview preparation with lifetime services and more! This program is offered to adults 18 years and older. Another program that we offer is STRIVE'S Y.E.P. -Youth Empowerment Program is a specialty program for teens ages 14-18 years old that offers summer employment for 10 weeks, along with 2 year in-school tracking for assistance with educational needs. Worksites are assigned based on each participants expressed career area of interest. Y.E.P. offers employability training focusing on the skills that employers are looking for. We also offer FREE driver's training, scholarships, field trips and more!! STRIVE recruits through various schools and organizations.
