DISTRICT 146 BAND PARENTS INC
Mission Statement
The purpose of the District 146 Band Parents Association is to support and promote the bands and its activities and not supersede the authority of the School Board, Administration or Faculty. The purpose is to also stimulate community interest in the bands of School District 146 and to encourage the students to take pride in their accomplishments. In addition, the association assists the band directors in carrying out the school policies as established by the school district and to provide additional finances for those facets of the band program not included in the Board of Education appropriations. Parents of band members and anyone interested in working towards the advancement of the bands are eligible for membership.
