Mission Statement
The National Black Prosecutors Association (NBPA) is committed to the recruitment of African Americans within the prosecutorial arm of the legal profession. Our mission is to ensure not only the retention of African Americans in the prosecutorial field, but to also to address the inequity that exists with respect to African American representation in the executive ranks of the prosecutors' offices nationwide. A further goal of NBPA is to recruit, train and mentor younger aspiring lawyers for leadership roles in the years ahead.
