Mission Statement

The mission of Resthave Home is to provide compassionate care while promoting human wholeness in a home-like atmosphere. Resthave Care & Rehabilitation has proudly served our community as a not-for-profit, Christian-based (although all religions are welcome and we have served people of many different faiths) home for over 65 years. We offer a continuum of care, meaning we are here for you as your health care needs change. Our services include Assisted Living Apartments, Long-term Nursing care - all private rooms, and Skilled care, offering exceptional short-term rehabilitation, including physical therapy, occupational therapy and more, to help you return home quickly. We are proud to be VA contracted and offer a dedicated Hospice Suite, allowing you to choose the hospice provider that best fits your needs. All of these services are under one roof. At Resthave, we take great pride in hosting a wide variety of fun and creative events throughout the year for people of all ages. These events are our way of giving back to the community and fostering meaningful connections. Our signature event, Family Fun Day, welcomes over 600 adults and children for a day filled with entertainment, food, and family bonding through crafts and "back to basic" games such as hula hoop contest, jump rope contest, relay races, bags (corn hole), touch a truck, bounce house, clowns, magician and so much more — all completely free of charge. Following are some of the events we host: blood drives, Memorial Day Service, Salute to Veterans and First Responders Service and Pinning, Mother's Day Tea, Father's Day Care Show and Cookout, Ice Cream Social, Volunteer Breakfast, Trick-or-Treating (over 300 kids), Easter Egg Hunt (over 300 kids), 4th of July Cookout Celebration and more.
