Path to Academics, Community and Employment (P.A.C.E) is a three-year, post-secondary certificate program designed to meet the transitional needs for young adults with multiple intellectual, learning and developmental disabilities. P.A.C.E. is seeking in-kind donations to contribute to our annual Creative Slam Scholarship Fundraiser on February 17th, 2018. All donations are tax-deductible and will be honored in our event program and included on social media websites. P.A.C.E. is one of the leading residential-based programs in the country that integrates employment preparation, independent living skills coaching, functional academic courses and social development into a curriculum that prepares students for independent living through experiential learning. With limited post-secondary options for adults with disabilities, P.A.C.E. offers a comprehensive life changing opportunity. A large part of how P.A.C.E. continues to offer services is through generous donations to the annual Creative Slam Scholarship Fundraiser. Last year, P.A.C.E. successfully raised over $5,000 which directly impacted students by providing scholarships and creating two alumni employment positions in the P.A.C.E. office. This year, we are determined to impact even more students by raising $10,000.
