Mission Statement
Founded in 1931, (incorporated in 1935), the Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club (NBGC) is a non-profit independent organization dedicated to youth development. Its mission is to enhance the well-being and develop the potential of its members, their families and community. This is accomplished through a year round multi-faceted program where “everyone plays”. This approach stresses teamwork, sportsmanship, character and leadership - qualities that will build “Better Men and Women”.
