DAILY BREAD SOUP KITCHEN INC

The mission of the Daliy Bread Soup Kitchen is to feed the hungry of the Champaign Urbana community regardless of race, religion, or ethnicity. The organization is comprised of volunteers who have a heart for our community and uses the soup kitchen to express and show compassion to the needy. The organization does not conduct any fundraisers or other special events as its main source of revenue are contributions from the general public. The contributions are then used to fund the soup kitchen and contribute to a small assistance fund which is used in meeting the needs of the community. These needs include, but are not limited to, paying for stranded people to go home, working to find supervised housing for individuals alienated from families by mental illness, and providing money for State IDs.
