Mission Statement
Eagle Hose Company #1 was incorporated on August 27, 1892. Today, the company is one of the most recognized departments in the area. We provide fire suppression and rescue services to our community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year while being 100% Volunteer. We also provide Mutual Aid to many surrounding communities. The department currently has an active membership comprised of 60 members under the direction of Fire Chief Matthew Horvath. We are currently recognized by the PA State Fire Commissioner as an organization that supports, promotes and encourages their emergency response personnel to voluntarily certify within the Commonwealth's Certification Program.
