Mission Statement
Metro Deaf School is a charter school for Deaf and hard of hearing children from birth through post high school. We are in our 33rd year of operation. We provide our students and their families with a bilingual approach to education, valuing American Sign Language and English for instruction. Presently, we have 175 students from over 35 different school districts around the Twin Cities area and Wisconsin. Our philosophy is to give our students a solid natural language foundation in both American Sign Language and English.
