Mission Statement

Serving the greater Lansing and Jackson areas, our Heartland team pro-vides compassionate care wherever people call home through home health care, hospice care and IV care. At Heartland, we believe whole-heartedly in the power of the individual, the importance of relationships and the value of respect and dignity to everyone at every stage of life. Providing 24/7 care, our team is made up of: Together we care for both patients and their families with a whole person approach. At Heartland, our caring also extends to our fellow employees. The Hug Fund is a partnership of employees helping employees, opening their hearts to the needs of more than 50,000 Heartland employees nation-wide. Through the Hug Fund, employees may receive financial assistance in the event an unexpected tragedy occurs. We saw this in action recently when one of our own employees experienced a life threat-ening event. In response, our local team responded with compassionate care, offer-ing support by way of meals, gifts and fi-nancial assistance to the employee and family. Additionally, the Hug Fund provided financial assistance during this very difficult time. While giving to the Hug Fund takes place all year round, we hold an annual campaign to raise monies for the Hug Fund through raffles, silent auctions and activities. We are seeking donations from local businesses to compli-ment our fundraising efforts. All donations are tax-deductible.
