Mission Statement
Chesapeake Area Alaskan Malamute Protection (CHAAMP) is an all-volunteer rescue dedicated to helping Alaskan Malamutes in MD, DC, DE, PA, VA, WV, NJ and NY. CHAAMP provides for Malamutes who have been abused, neglected, abandoned, released to shelters, or are otherwise in need. Our goal is to get them healthy again and find them loving permanent homes. Some of our dogs are housed in a kennel or fostered in homes throughout the metropolitan area.
