YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION INC

Youth Development Organization, Inc. (YDO) is a citywide nonprofit organization that, by providing access to enriching activities and long-term mentoring support, seeks to grow a community of motivated students who are increasingly aware of their capacity for excellence. YDO invests heavily in individuals and fosters a culture of participation and learning that develops their strengths and helps them build personal stories of success, which YDO believes are essential for lives of pride and accomplishment. Through our offerings and collaborations, YDO students are able to participate in out-of-school enrichment programs with focus areas ranging from the STEM disciplines (robotics, Astronomy, Science Olympiad, etc.), to the performing and fine arts (musical theatre, creative writing, ceramics, etc.), and beyond.
