MASS GENERAL BRIGHAM INCORPORATED
Mission Statement
The mission of The Family Dinner Project (TFDP) is to reach and support families across the United States to improve the quality and frequency of their family meals. The Family Dinner Project champions family dinner as an opportunity for family members to connect with each other through food, fun, and conversation about things that matter. Through comprehensive online resources and evidence-based community programs, TFDP enables families of all shapes and sizes to improve their meals together—making dinner simpler, more nutritious, more fun, and more meaningful. Years of research have established the "why" of family dinners--improved mental health, nutrition, and academic success. The Family Dinner Project helps families learn "how" to unlock these benefits. The Family Dinner Project is based at the Psychiatry Academy at Massachusetts General Hospital.
